Andy Murray recorded his first win over Novak Djokovic in more than two years on Sunday Jesper Bratt Jersey , beating the world No.1 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 in the final of the -Rogers Cup in Montreal.

Murray snapped an eight-match losing streak to Djokovic with his first win over the Serb since the 2013 Wimbledon -final, then dedicated the victory to his coach Amelie Mauresmo, who gave birth to a baby boy earlier in the day.

"I'm not sure she will have stayed up to watch this one but, Amelie, this one's for you," Murray said.

The Scotsman climbed a spot to No.2 in the world rankings after capturing his fourth title of the year in a major boost to his confidence ahead of the US Open, starting in New York at the end of the month.

Djokovic suffered just his fourth loss this year and his first in a Masters Series finals since falling to Roger Federer in Cincinnati in 2012.

"Andy is deservedly a winner today on the court," Djokovic said.

"I thought what made the difference was his serve and my serve. I didn't serve well the first set and a half.

"But not taking anything away from him, from his victory. He deserved it. He stepped in, played some great shots. Most of all the moments when he needed to, he served very, very well."

Murray got the decisive break in the second game of the final set but had to survive an 18-minute service game to consolidate his lead in the fifth game before claiming his third title on the Canadian hard courts, and first since 2010.

"We've played many -matches like that, especially in Grand Slams," Murray said.

"If this was the US Open, we'd have to play another -couple of sets like that, which isn't easy.

"He's obviously one of the best returners in the world and he obviously has a lot of confidence to stand and fight right to the end, so you have to play right to the end of the match and weather the storms when they come, and I managed to that today."

WELLINGTON, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Two leading New Zealand marine scientists on Thursday warned that more stringent global measures are needed to prevent sealife extinctions, including reserves that ban all fishing.

The definition of marine protected areas (MPAs) had become too loose and there was little certainty over how effective they were, Associate Professor Mark Costello, of the Institute of Marine Science at the University of Auckland, and Dr Bill Ballantine, a pioneer of marine reserves in New Zealand, said in a statement.

Instead, more no-take marine reserves, where fishing of any kind was prohibited, must be established and existing MPAs that allow some fishing should not be reported by countries unless they could prove biodiversity gain.

"We say that if organizations and countries want to report on marine biodiversity protection, then that can only be done robustly from within designated no-take reserves," Costello said.

The United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity had a goal of managing ocean resources sustainably by 2020, but that goal was looking less achievable, he said.

"Most people probably think we are making progress in marine conservation, but the figures show that's not the case," Costello said.

"So far extinctions in the ocean have been lower than on land, but we know some marine species are on the brink and at least a 10- fold increase in no-take marine reserves is the best way to conserve marine biodiversity for future generations."

Less than 1 percent of the world's oceans were designated no- take marine reserves and less than one quarter of coastal countries had even one designated marine reserve.

Since 1950, about 9,000 MPAs have been established by 150 countries and today just 6 percent of those were no-take.

In 1950, the figure was 27 percent, and by 2013, a total of 94 percent of MPAs allowed some fishing.

"MPAs are often multiple-use, with the aim of managing resources rather than preserving and protecting biodiversity in its wild condition," Ballantine said.

"Only areas that are no-take should be regarded as truly protecting ocean ecosystems and if countries can't accurately report from no-take areas within MPAs, then conservation gain should be assumed to be zero."

New Zealand protected 6.9 percent of its marine environment through some form of protection, but less than 1 percent of the exclusive economic zone was protected through no-take reserves.

What happens when you mix hiking and rock climbing? You get cave hiking, and a lot of fun! Cave hiking is considered by some to be an extreme sport. For those athletes who do it, it?s an amazing physical challenge and a great rush! It combines regular hiking with rock scrambling and climbing and allows you to explore exciting underground and in ground environments. As with any sport, there are dangers associated with it. There are however, things that you can do to minimize those dangers.

The most important thing to remember when cave hiking, or doing any other outdoor sport; is to notify someone of your location. If you are in a national park, there is generally a place to sign in where you can put your intended route and the day and time that you left. Even if there is no such book, you should always let a friend or family member know where you are going and when you plan to be back. This week, in the event of any emergency, they will know where to send help and how long you have been missing for.

Along with notifying someone of your plans, being well prepared can help ensure your safety during your excursion. There are quite a few things that the well stocked cave hiker should have in their bag of tricks. One of these things is a survival knife. You may come across vines or ropes that you will need to cut to get through, it can also be used to mark your way when you.
